We want to wish SRO Schneider the best of luck as he heads off to the Police Academy! 🚔 We’re grateful for all he does to keep us safe and can’t wait to welcome him back to LPS. Good luck, Officer Schneider!

Congratulations to our Beat the Bell Winners today! Great job of getting to school and being on time! Each student received a prize.

This week, our little learners had a royal time exploring the letter K! From crafting crowns to pretending to be brave knights, we dove into the magical world of kings, dragons, and castles. Our friends practiced their K sound, and even got to roar like dragons and defend the kingdom with their shields!

Come join our LPS Preschool Team! We are looking for an instructional assistant to work in our preschool classrooms. Please apply on our website!

Miss Heiert’s Kindergarten class has been busy diving into our new curriculum! 📚 This week, we worked on sequencing events in a nursery rhyme. We listened to Star Light, Star Bright and created our own wishes on a star! Students loved making their own stars and putting the nursery rhyme in order! They are truly shining bright like the stars they are! 🌟

Interested in joining our team? LPS is looking for a long term sub to cover a maternity leave in Preschool. Please apply on our website today!

LPS staff participated in several learning and collaboration opportunities today including a scavenger hunt and behavior activity.

Students learned about bus safety last week. 🚌

Second graders in Mrs. Buddenberg’s class are diving into their reading curriculum by exploring the characteristics of fairy tales. Students have read stories like Beauty and the Beast and created Fairy Tale Bags, which they filled with key elements such as magical objects, royal characters, and the moral of the story. It’s been a fun and engaging way for them to connect with what they’re reading!
