Every week, our preschool classes have been learning different skills including a letter of the week. To celebrate our final letter, "Zz," and all of our hard work, we went on a field trip to the Cincinnati Zoo! While there, we looked for various animals that started with each letter and had some hands-on fun learning about all the different animals and their habitats.
Congratulations to Sra. Peñate’s 2nd Grade classes on winning the K–2 Earth Day Chalk the Walk Mural Contest! Thank you for your dedication to helping students learn about protecting our planet and the value of recycling. Your creativity and teamwork truly stood out. Well done! As a prize, Class 207 was awarded the hand chair from the Dearborn County Recycling Center.
Congratulations to our April SRO Club members! Each month students are nominated to be part of the SRO club for displaying the characteristics of a police officer. Way to go! The SRO Club members enjoy eating lunch with our SRO, Office Schneider!

Last week, our 2nd graders had a very special experience in our DLI program as 6th grade students from GMS visited them 🇪🇸✨ Together, they had the opportunity to meet, communicate in Spanish, and share meaningful moments. They read 📚, played Blooket 🎮, talked 🗣️, and began building connections that go beyond the classroom 🤝. It was a truly fun, exciting, and memorable activity for everyone involved. We are looking forward to it happening again! 🌟

Miss Smith’s preschoolers had a very special visitor Friday—Frannie the therapy dog! 🐾 The children loved spending time with her, practicing gentle touches, greetings/ handshakes, and learning how animals can help us feel calm and happy. It was a wonderful experience full of smiles, laughter, and lots of tail wags!
